Who We Are
The Sonoport Team is comprised of a dedicated group of creative professionals with wide variety of digital media backgrounds including flash designers, AVID editors and an interactive digital media professor. We all live and work in Singapore but come from a variety of countries including Sweden, USA, Canada and Singapore.

Our Vision
Sonoport constantly aims to unleash the true power of audio within the Flash environment. To achieve this we develop ground breaking tools that provide designers and developers with the ability and control to effortlessly apply interactive sound to their Flash projects. As pioneers within this field we believe that dynamic ActionScript audio in the Flash community is the next great frontier for creativity and inspiration.

Our Partners
Our leading partner, the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore, has been created to focus on and develop the Singaporean media industry putting it at the forefront of the media age. Various initiatives, developments and standards for television, film, video, radio, publication and new media are handled by the MDA.

How We Started
The technology behind our sounds has been under development for over 5 years. Dr. Lonce Wyse of the National University of Singapore has overseen its progress through all its various stages of development with the specific focus of one day making algorithmic sound as available to the mass market as standard formats such as wav and mp3. Dr. Lonce Wyse is now an integral member of the Sonoport team.
